Activities:
  • Naming Ceremony and Homecoming – Participants will be given traditional names to welcome them to Ghana (Optional)
  • Manhyia Palace – Visit the Manhyia Palace which is the seat of the Asantehene, the Monarch of the Asante Kingdom, as well as his official residence, located in Kumasi.
  • Lake Bosomtwi – See the only natural lake in Ghana which is about 10.5 kilometers (6.5 mi) in diameter
  • Kente Weaving – Experience how the kente cloth is made into beautiful colors and patterns
  • Assin Manso Slave River – Visit the Slave River Site served as the place where slaves had their last bath on African soil before being marched down to the slave castles of Elmina and Cape Coast along the coast.
  • Capecoast & Elmina Castle – Visit the slave dungeons and the door of no return which was the last stop before enslaved Africans crossed the Atlantic Ocean
  • Kakum National Park – Experience the famous canopy walkway in Ghana, which is suspended about 40 meters (130 feet) above the ground and offers breathtaking views of the rainforest. Home to diverse wildlife and lush vegetation.
